Sanitize the reservoir

Unplug the unit, drain all water, and clean the reservoir with a solution of 1 tablespoon white vinegar per cup of water. Rinse thoroughly until no vinegar taste remains. Wipe the dispensing area and drip tray weekly. Replace filters per manufacturer schedule.
