Maytag Dryers Error Codes

Dryer door sense error on control board or due to power line interference.

Cycles and price display disabled until diagnostic code is manually cleared.

Dryer motor control circuit error.

Blocked coin 1 or coin drop control circuit failure.

Enter service mode, press and hold START button to cancel the failure code.

Washer/dryer is inoperative. Diagnostic codes displayed on the upper portion pertain to the dryer section, lower portion to the washer section. Codes on both portions pertain to the control system of both.

Refer to specific diagnostic codes (not provided in this section) for resolution.

The cycle is complete and the washer/dryer cannot be operated. Coins dropped or debit inputs during this condition will be stored in escrow but cannot be used until normal operation is restored by opening and closing the door. If a door switch has failed, causing '0 MINUTES' to remain in the display after the door is opened and closed, it must be replaced before normal operation can be restored.

Open and close the door to restore normal operation. If due to a failed door switch, replace the door switch.

ACU - HMI Communication Error

Indicates that the ACU and HMI have not communicated for a specified amount of time. Unplug dryer or disconnect power.

WiFi Module Communications Lost

Indicates that the WiFi Module has not responded for a specified amount of time. Unplug dryer or disconnect power.

Power Failure

PF indicates that a power failure occurred while the dryer was running.

No saved fault codes present

Displayed when entering Service Diagnostic Mode if no fault codes are stored, or after clearing fault codes.

The dryer is inoperative.

Touch and hold Control Lock for 3 seconds to unlock the controls of the dryer.

Lint screen or vent is clogged; the vent is crushed or kinked or has too many turns. (Available for Sensor Cycles only, indicates airflow status.)

The dryer will continue to run when this diagnostic code is present.

Dryer vent may be crushed or blocked.
